First Annual Appreciation Banquet

On behalf of the Willing Workers Club and Rev. Larry Robinson, we would like to thank all who supported our First Annual Appreciation Banquet which was held on Saturday, May 22 in New Hope United Methodist Church's Fellowship Hall.

The Appreciation Banquet, which was sponsored by the Willing Workers Club, was a special banquet given to thank and show appreciation to our church members for the time and effort they put into the various ministries of the church.

Members of New Hope UMC and the Rowland community participated, many dressed in their finest formal attire.

The program began with a welcome by Ms. Emma Burns, President of the Willing Workers Club. Then dinner was served. The menu consisted of the following: Boneless Chicken Breast with Sweet Orange Sauce, Garden Salad with dressing, Yellow Rice, Green Beans, Sweet Corn, Red Velvet Cake, Rolls, and Ice Tea.

After dinner, Rev. Robinson gave out various plaques and certificates honoring the New Hope church family.
